      The MB server's OAuth2 implementation supports PKCE ("Proof Key for Code Exchange"), see https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Development/OAuth2

      Using this is recommended. Also this can be done in preparation before moving to the upcoming MetaBrainz OAuth2 implementation (PICARD-2772).
