When adding columns to the main tree views the columns are often not directly visible. Adding more columns or clicking the header (and changing the sort order) can cause the new columns to suddenly show up, but with a very narrow default size. 

When starting with a fresh config adding / removing columns seems to work, but after a restart manipulating the columns leads to the described issues.
