I would like to have an option to use artist aliases for singular artist and albumartist tags, but standardized names for plural artists and albumartists tags. Currently, Picard only allows you to use either the alias or the standardized name for all of these tags at once.

My reason is that Navidrome uses the singular (album)artist tag for display names, but the plural (album)artists for assigning works to an artist’s profile (see its Tagging Guidelines). When an artist releases a work an alias, I would like to have that alias as the song’s display name, but I would like to see that work in the singular profile this artist has, next to all of their other releases. I also would like to be taken to that singular profile when I click on the artist from that work. I am currently setting these tags manually and it’s a huge pain, so it would be nice to have this functionality built into Picard.
