Picard needs better error icons. The red "no entry" icon is being used for too many scenarios.

Here are some suggestions:

• no entry icon: File is locked or user does not have write permission.
• question mark icon: File cannot be found. File may have been moved or renamed.
• exclamation mark in triangle: A serious error has occurred, such as a write error or other issue that makes writing impossible.
