Search isn't ignoring apostrophes.

e.g. searching 'Baldurs Gate' doesn't return releases with the terms 'Baldur's Gate':

https://beta.musicbrainz.org/search?query=baldurs+gate&type=release&method=indexed
vs
https://beta.musicbrainz.org/search?query=baldur%27s+gate&type=release&method=indexed

This affects indexed and direct search, but it seems this is expected behaviour for direct, based on discussion at MBS-791 (which in turn leads me to believe that it is not expected behaviour for indexed search)
