Similar to STYLE-297, sometimes the only good quality image that can be found is letterboxed with white bars (or black bars) on 2 of the 4 sides.

(For large resolution JPEGs, it is sometimes possible to losslessly crop the white bars away without re-encoding the JPEG, but for smaller resolution JPEGs, such cropping would not be possible, and the cropped JPEG would have to be saved as a PNG.)
