In 2022, a new type of phonograph record was introduced. These are very similar to vinyl records but are made out of bioplastic, which is better for the environment. Sometimes they are referred to as "ecovinyl", and "Evovinyl" is the name of the specific brand that started this format.

Just like regular vinyl, these can be 7-inch, 10-inch or 12-inch, so these distinctions should be options as well. One example is Billie Eilish who uses 12-inch bioplastic records for her new album, as well as 7-inch for her singles. These are currently listed as "vinyl" which is sort of misleading. Discogs has also added this format (https://www.discogs.com/search?q=bioplastic&type=all)
