I would like to improve the metadata of video game music releases on MusicBrainz and to also be able to easily use this data with tools like beets.

The simplest path would be adding the MusicBrainz tag (https://musicbrainz.org/tag/video%20game%20music, ~10 tagged entities) to the genre whitelist so that such tools can pull the existing data as genre. It would also allow me to help other users who are looking to do the same since my contributions would be usable by others.

Thank you for your consideration!
