Many classical compositions that were originally attributed to composers like (JS) Bach, Haydn or Vivaldi have been found to be actually the work of other composers. This is even true of much more modern composers, usually due to attempted hoaxes. Currently we have no way to indicate this at all - but it's useful, especially since older releases might still have the old attribution and the editors will be confused not to see the work linked to the indicated composer.
