A frequent case is when the last release of a release group is merged into another release from another release group (for example see edit #81467554, the release group becomes empty, then ModBot removes it (to follow the previous example see edit #81661768) as part of his daily tasks.

The release group should be merged rather than deleted to avoid bad effects.
