A universal markup syntax for annotations, setlists and edit notes needs to be adopted. Currently, all 3 behave quite differently when it comes to various markup.

For example, annotations and notes support italics via 2 quote marks but setlists don't. Setlists and annotations support piped links but moderation notes don't.

Consistency between these and future text fields will make editing much easier in the future.
