We'd like to see how the website appears and the effect on the user experience of using the "Flatly" theme from Bootswatch (https://bootswatch.com/flatly/) instead of the current "Lobes" theme.

For this task, the first step would be to download the theme, and add it to the site stylesheets folder. The styles.less file should be updated to remove Lobes and add Flatly, and the "gulp less" task run to update the site CSS. An initial set of screenshots (homepage, entity display and entity edit form pages) should be produced and shared with the developers. Subsequently, any interface glitches or things that break should be fixed in an elegant way, and custom CSS styling should be minimized (particularly fixes for Lobes-specific issues). A final set of screenshots should be produced and shared.
