When adding the edition https://bookbrainz.org/edition/bc393bf1-efc2-4dcc-87ce-5ae3afc58273 I added first the ISBN "82-05-17423-7" (which did auto-identify) and later the barcode "9 788205 174238", this didn't auto-identify so I chose "barcode" in the list, when this still didn't produce a green tick, I removed spaces in the barcode, this made it accepted, but changed my previously selected "barcode" choice to "ISBN-13"

While this may be a correct ISBN-13 number (especially with newer books) it shouldn't change something I've specifically selected into something else.

As for "barcode" actually being ISBN-13; on this 1987 book nowhere is there a separate stated ISBN-13, further the barcode is an completely different number than the ISBN-10.
