Building on from BB-648 it would be great if it’d be possible to paste any number of URLs (but especially MusicBrainz ones) and the backend would resolve the URL/id to the associated BB entity – or narrow the search results/list to the ones matching for cases where there are multiple hits.
E.g., pasting https://musicbrainz.org/artist/4d56eb9f-13b3-4f05-9db7-50195378d49f into a(n appropriate) field should resolve to https://bookbrainz.org/author/475b3755-4936-41c9-baa5-f36a96cef19f (since bb-author-id 475b3755-4936-41c9-baa5-f36a96cef19f already has mb-artist-id 4d56eb9f-13b3-4f05-9db7-50195378d49f associated with it.
Ideally this would work with any identifier BB supports, so e.g., https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q346993 would resolve to https://bookbrainz.org/author/01489b9c-b1cb-4873-933b-4bf4a4f50c8f and https://openlibrary.org/works/OL59863W to https://bookbrainz.org/work/39ac1387-3a71-49ee-9ab5-64284bd8e30f
For cases where multiple BB entities share the same id, it should ideally be able to select which one you want. E.g., https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6435966.Martin_Greis should return both https://bookbrainz.org/author/9b6ea21b-20ad-499d-8bf1-b92af360695c and https://bookbrainz.org/author/e924fb06-0472-429c-8b73-a65fad6076d8 for selection.
