This was previously requested in BB-86 and apparently fixed? But doesn’t seem to have carried over to the current incantation of the codebase.

For artists (and I think other entities) it is currently possible to seed the name but it doesn’t look for any other values from the query string.

It would be really neat for making user scripts and similar that would not require authenticating (like BB-151) as the actual data submission would happen "as normal" on BookBrainz.org and not through the userscript itself. Would also require less UI in user scripts since it can just hand-off the editing UI to BookBrainz as well.

I was looking into this just now because I’ve been wanting an importer script from MB and/or Wikidata, but seems like that’s not possible to do at this moment.
