many works can be untitled, be it poetry or comic strips (likely applies to other entities too, but I've got no specific examples on hand). I think instead of handling it the same way MusicBrainz currently does (by simply [bracketing] the placeholder title), I think it might be good to have a checkbox that a work is untitled to differentiate them from titled works in brackets (tho I don't know how common this is for written works, it is fairly common in music tho)

that said, we could (and probably should) still [bracket] the placeholder title for untitled entities even with the checkbox
