right now you can't see a difference between former and current members of a group. it might be a good idea to see the current lineup of a band though. i made 3 quick mockups on how this could work:

artist-after1.png: here i just removed the former members. this method is flawed since it would remove the members of dissolved bands too. bands like the beatles would end up without any listed members.

artist-after2.png: here we have two lists. one for current members and one for former members. for dissolved bands the first list would be empty and could be removed altogether.

artist-after3.png: this one adds the begin- and end-date of former members. you could also put them at the end of the list to make the distinction more clear.

(oh and the list should be sorted by name anyways.)

edit: but i can also see the point in leaving it as is for the sake of keeping it cleaner and don't overload the pages with information like we do on mb.
