Seems there are two different concepts here, the aboriginal item that the original request spoke off, and the electronic item (instrument) then later found
-------------------------------------------
I found some new information that may warrant another review of whether this should be added as a new instrument.

I believe this is the same instrument, in this case referred to as a T-Stick: http://idmil.org/projects/the_t-stick
Here is a video of the T-Stick being played: https://vimeo.com/15886085

Original Request
Described in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talking_stick
Credited as instrument on the song "Someone" by "Air Supply", see https://coverartarchive.org/release/824374ef-da9a-4322-8519-7808a51a197c/17961260405.png

Apparently, above links lead to the aboriginal item
and the T-Stick isn't the same thing as Talking stick, since it was found on 2005, meanwhile talking stick article above mention that talking stick was being used on Ms. Anderson’s 1999 Moby Dick World Tour.
