Description: Tifa is a traditional music instrument from Papua, Indonesia. It is pretty similar to kendang, except Tifa has only one head. The whole lower part of the instrument, which is made of wood, usually woodcarved. Those woodcarves usually can be interpreted as four symbolically more suggestive figures like human figure or animal figure.
