Name: Rice Drum (Wikipedia), is a traditional Vietnamese double-headed wooden drum.
Also known as: Trong Com, Trống cơm.
Resemble: Mridangam, Skor sang na, yaogu.
Description: Rice Drum has long and thin body. The drum is played by placing it in front of the abdomen with a string hanging over the performer's neck to hold the drum, then use both hands to strike two ends of it, drumsticks can also be used. Just like its name, Rice Drum is tuned by smearing hot rice mash on the surface.
