so, I started playing my favorite playlist, and the ListenBrainz player didn't play Tom Jones's It's Not Unusual where it should have (the 8th track in the playlist). to start the playlist, I simply pressed the play button on the first track. it's possible that the playlist was being shuffled, but I couldn't tell (for perhaps obvious reasons).
the playlist in question and my listen history from that time:

if it's important, I'm on Windows 11 with Google Chrome Version 106.0.5249.119
a couple other issues that popped up which may or may not be related, around the 4th or 5th What's New Pussycat? the player played the song twice at the same time. i.e. it started playing the song, and about 4 seconds later it started playing the song again, so the two plays were overlapping. it was just the one play though. it also seemed to stop the playlist too soon, as I only got 10 of the 21 tracks before it stopped playing on it's own.
