I think the new artist pages should have interlinks between some related artists. some MusicBrainz relationship examples that I think would be good to start with (which should probably work both directions):

• members
• renamed into
• subgroups
• performs as

I think it would also be good to take dates into account here, or at the very least note which relationships are marked as "ended", and like, strike those out or something (see also MBS-13050 regarding the latter part)
