Update: I have turned this into a rollup ticket, since multiple services have this problem.

Please add any issues where something is being submitted as a listen that shouldn't be.
Note that in some cases these are from non-music players that should be disabled as sources in the app, however some may be submitted by players that also submit data that you want submitted. Please add these kinds of details to your comment, and ideally the full listen data.

Example services that shouldn't be submitted:

• Spotify by Kitchen Display (submitted by Google Nest)
• Sky One by Android TV (submitted by household Chromecast)
• Spotify by Living Room TV (submitted by household Chromecast)
• Sky Sports Italia

I'm at my partner's parent's house and they have a Google Nest.

It's been submitting lots of plays (not sure how or why, but I guess it's synced with my Spotify, or it's being picked up because my Android is on the same WiFi?) like so:

I'm hoping there's something in this metadata that allows us to detect something we can filter out/never submit as a listen?

Alternatively we could filter out any tracks called 'Spotify' (RIP to legitimate tracks, but might be worth it tbh.)
