When I open Fresh Releases the first thing I do is navigate to todays date, and then I navigate from there. Because of a number of factors, it is not possible/inconvenient to load Fresh Releases on todays date.

Instead, we could add a shortcut to todays date, at the top of the page.

These mockups crib from the mobile Google Calendar icon that does the same thing. This is the best I could come up with, if you think of a better way to implement this feature please go for it. It would perhaps fit better into the custom scroll sidebar (bottom bar on mobile), but that is currently not implemented/visible in the 'For You' view.
