Non-latin artist/tracks, accents and variations are not resolved properly on Spotify

I have tried to export the following playlist:

      https://listenbrainz.org/playlist/933fb057-8c62-405a-a87e-9f207b889aa7/

      It may be found here:

      https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7qBy7gqrLRRgPudEWNK4tN

Note it's missing 56 tracks. Upon further inspection, I have seen that any artist or track which was written in Japanese on the Listenbrainz webpage has not been exported properly. That points to a problem on the current mapping between lb items and spotify, although note the tracks/artist exist on Spotify (with english names most times).

Also, the MB database does include in fact such tracks/artists with aliases matching Spotify:

      https://musicbrainz.org/artist/c5ae5832-cbbf-44d0-8b9c-36e67360c5b1/aliases

In ListenBrainz it's named Wagakki Band and in Spotify it's WagakkiBand, but such variation is already on MusicBrainz, so I would expect to match it.
      In particular, for this track:

      https://musicbrainz.org/recording/b0500d1e-de41-4f95-a0c6-792040076f0d

There are multiple matches on Spotify:

      https://open.spotify.com/track/2JIiUmPoIEolW2PAXzuLOl

      So I see 2 problems:

      • Non-latin chars in title/album/artist are not properly matched against Spotify, even if there is a perfect match.
      • Aliases (usually English or variations) are not properly used when matching against Spotify.
