I had mistakenly credited a couple releases/recordings to the wrong artist and later listened to it which then became part of the statistics or more specifically "popular tracks" on the page of the incorrect artist.

On May 21st 2024 I noticed this mistake and pointed all of them to the correct artist. That change seems to have already taken effect on the metadata cache and user statistics (top listeners) but unfortunately it seems the popular tracks section was completely unfazed by this.

One month later, June 21st 2024 this problem persists. The wrong artist still displays popular tracks:
