And excellent feature on the MB website, that I use a lot, is if I paste a URL/MBID into a field it will (when able) automatically change dropdowns on the page to match the type of URL/MBID (rather than returning nothing).
This would be handy to have in the "Add listens" LB feature as well:
- When I paste a MB album URL/MBID, change the toggle to "Add album" and run the search
- When I paste a MB recording URL/MBID, change the toggle to "Add track" and run the search
Even though we should be careful of doing things "for" the user automatically, I have never heard of trouble with this feature in MB so I think we might be safe!

i have found something that got broken when implementing this.
you used to be able to paste only the Mbid.
now you can ONLY past a url containing the Mbid.
this currently ONLY works if you past a URL; if you only past the Mbid it doesn't work anymore (this used to work).
on other places you can do both (paste either a Mbid OR the url containing the Mbid)
