Create a complete native VLC plugin

      It would be great if VLC could submit music listens to ListenBrainz.

      To accomplish this we would need to code a C/C++ plugin for VLC and then see if we can submit this plugin for inclusion in VLC or otherwise hosting an installer for it on our own.

      Amcap1712 started working on a plugin, but I never heard more about where that projects stands, but maybe there is code for us to pick this project up from.
