Looking at my charts, you can see many of my listens from the same artists are split into two separate ones.
There are listens for a specific artist that link to a musicbrainz entry and then for the same artist, there's a separate count of listens that aren't linked to a musicbrainz entry.
What I noticed is, the listen counts with releases that don't have a musicbrainz entry yet are what is causing this.
Take Trainwreck as an example. I have 69 listens from them that link to a musicbrainz entry and then I have another 36 separate listens that don't link to anything. Some of their albums don't have a musicbrainz entry yet and those are the ones that don't link to anything.
Also, I wanted to mention Mihai Edrisch. I have 69 and 59 listens from them, both albums have a musicbrainz entry; however, L'un sans l'autre doesn't link to anything due to what seems to be a capitalisation issue. My files are tagged as 'L'un Sans L'autre' and the musicbrainz entry lists it as 'L'Un sans l'autre'.
Is it possible to have charts display the overall listens count for any artists regardless of whether their releases have musicbrainz entries or not?
This issue just makes the entire charts inaccurate.
