- Links to self <- seems pointless, see user edits section below for alternative
- "Voting FAQ" <- not a FAQ, why not rename to "Introduction to Voting"?
- "How Editing Works" <- seems to be old, unfavored version of Introduction to Editing
more pages link to Introduction to Editing than How Editing Works.
They should be consolidated anyway. Two different pages trying to explain the same thing are just plain confusing
Furthermore the open edits page lists one's own edits. If the purpose of that page is to list edits where one can vote why do this? They are listed first even, in my case anyway, duh!
https://musicbrainz.org/user/<user>/edits
https://musicbrainz.org/<entity>/<MBID>/edits
Same issues as above, plus:
- Open edits links to default page <- this should either link to the open edits of the editor/entity one is currently viewing or there should be a toggle to switch between open edits and all like on subscription edit listings:
https://musicbrainz.org/edit/subscribed https://musicbrainz.org/edit/subscribed_editors
On the generic open edits page and subscription edit listings it's not easily possible to redefine conditions:
https://musicbrainz.org/edit/open https://musicbrainz.org/edit/subscribed https://musicbrainz.org/edit/subscribed_editors
Strong suggestion: Promote the new and shiny "voting reports" (voting suggestions) on the open edits page.
Maybe throw the default open edits page under the bus and replace it with the "all open edits" edit search from the voting suggestions instead.
This should only be done after the edit search performance has been vastly improved though, that thing is awfully slow.
