The cover art upload form should display a clear warning that images might contain sensitive metadata that one wish not to publicise. Particularly location data seems undesirable for cover art since these are often taken at home and can pose a privacy problem to the uploader.
So far I've witnessed two cases of users who either learned about this after the fact or seem unaware of this:
