The genres list https://musicbrainz.org/genres is presented as an alphabetical list.

Some of these are IMO a sub-classification of other more general genres e.g. "baroque" is a sub-class of "classical". Others might be a fusion of two parent classes.

Anyway, I believe it would be helpful to present this list as a hierarchy (accepting that fusion items might appear twice) - perhaps a hierarchical list could be provided as an alternative rather than a replacement for the alphabetical list.

Note: I am not suggesting any change to the list of genres - just how it is presented.
