      We really should have something like the paste-a-date userscript  (originally by nikki, last version I can find is https://gist.github.com/JesseWeinstein/368bddf748f4faf44b5775addf7f3db0) implemented into our date editors.

          [MBS-12230] Allow pasting / parsing dates on date fields

          Would love to see this formally implemented. Support specifically for both YYYY-MM-DD and YYYY.MM.DD formats would be well appreciated as well, the latter isn't supported by Levi's script at the moment AFAIK.

          Kinda, but the focus there is on it being a single field and I'm not sure I agree with that
