Note: I'm note sure how it relates to MBS-78

Currently when you do a CD lookup though the web site, a wizard allow you to search for the release and if you can't find it it suggest that you add it.
Then in the current release editor you have a "FreeDB import" button that does an automatic FreeDB lookup (by getting FreeDB discid from MB DiscId) and fills in tracks info and release title.

I think it's really important because users submitting and/or new release usually is boring if you have to enter all information by hands.
It's far easier to get most information if you can, and then review/correct what comes from FreeDB.

Furthermore most users entering releases that way are not core MB contributors, but are just following suggestion from e.g. Sound Juicer or Rhythmnbox to contribute data. So it would be a shame if they've a first bad feeling.
