The newest beta (a28da6ecf0) seems to perform worse on my device:
Browser: Google Chrome 101.0.4951.72
CPU: MediaTek mt8183
RAM: 4GB

Most noticeable in the release editor especially when expanding mediums:

The scrolling might appear a bit rigid but it was actually pretty smooth.

Beta:

Here the scrolling was quite choppy and the painting of the background color for artist credit fields takes it sweet time as can be clearly seen.

I had also run a performance report with Lighthouse afterwards. Just a single run so not necessarily representative and I'm not sure how much the beta server differs otherwise.

I had closed all browser windows except the incognito window (so I wouldn't have to disable extensions manually). Some of the extensions I use might've run in the background but not in the window.
