The developer was told multiple times that the iTunes copyright field isn't equivalent to the MusicBrainz release label field, but the developer refuses to remove the feature.

I think the MusicBrainz release editor should display a warning and require the user to click a checkbox to confirm that the release label is actually a release label rather than a copyright holder, if the release editor is seeded with an edit note containing "https://github.com/dufferzafar/Userscripts/blob/master/MB-Import-From-iTunes.user.js"
