Came up at the summit via rdswift:

If we are expecting LB to grow and attract casual users, we should allow users to upload 'nice' covers to MB without expecting them to add a release every time (or add incorrect data to an existing one).

One way to do this would be to allow storing images in a MB release group (see mockup)

The accompanying guidelines should say to remove these images when a release with an equal or better cover is added.

(this would require being able to use release group covers in LB, e.g. LB-1048, before it becomes useful)
