ModBot: The first of a set of 4 edits

XMLWordPrintable

Before NGS, there was a nice feature that was trying to link edit sets together.

When using the release editor or today the release relationship editor, the entity editor, there are many instances when we will generate several edits within a single edit "transaction".

It used to be noted as:

      https://musicbrainz.org/search/edits?auto_edit_filter=&order=asc&negation=0&combinator=and&conditions.0.field=editor&conditions.0.operator=%3D&conditions.0.name=jesus2099&conditions.0.args.0=285909&conditions.1.field=id&conditions.1.operator=BETWEEN&conditions.1.args.0=6144820&conditions.1.args.1=6144829

I think it would be nice to get this thing back, and to make it even better:

      • Include an edit set note in each edit
      • Include a search link to all the edits of the set

      Search URL:

      • Match all conditions
      • editor=jesus2099
      • ID between X and Z

The URL I used above may be risky in case I am doing simultaneous edits in another tab?
I don't know if our edit pages are always using all ID in sequence?

If there is a risk, the URL should rather be:

      • Match any conditions
      • ID is X
      • ID is Y
      • ID is Z

The URL, in this case, may be listing all edit ID because maybe it's possible that
