I added a "recording of" relationship between https://musicbrainz.org/recording/cac04851-c6db-4019-b80b-b7e483432a66 and https://musicbrainz.org/work/9632b37d-010b-3936-9293-36053e95e146.
https://musicbrainz.org/release/da674f72-c64e-433e-a85c-5a9af13adcdc (the release containing the recording) now displays a "music quoted in" relationship between the work and https://musicbrainz.org/work/cf523dd8-ea70-42ec-b8dc-1748381ab61a, another work that doesn't have any connection to the recording beyond being derived from the same original work.
It seems like there are already some work relationships that are omitted from release pages, e.g. "is the basis for". "music quoted in" and "lyrics quoted in" seem like they should be added to that list – if R is a recording of work W, people looking at a release containing R probably don't care about other works based on W.
