We have seen plenty of cases where raw HTML is displayed (and errors are logged to Sentry) because of broken HTML in user bios and instrument descriptions. It would probably make sense to have a preview option in all fields that support HTML, so that people can check whether all looks good before submitting rather than inadvertently ending up with something messy.
