The guidelines for pseudo-releases (https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Style/Specific_types_of_releases/Pseudo-Releases) say they should generally not get cover art. It wouldn't hurt to add a sentence about that to the cover art tab of pseudo-releases, to not depend on people going to the guideline page to know not to upload to them.
Excellent, thank you!
Would it be any harder to knock out the cover art tab completely? It seems a bit redundant, and I don't know if there's ever cases where pseudo releases should have artwork.I guess it would be tricky for ones that already have art, which someone will want to remove, but maybe disable the 'add artwork' button?edit: I just read your notes in the pull request after writing this, it's clear now that sometimes there is art (when no non-pseudo release exists yet), thanks reo!!
