The changes from MBS-11460 have resulted in Compilation now always being sorted as the top secondary type (on artist pages).
Apparently they are now sorted by ID instead of by name as previously (before 2021).

I mainly noticed this because it does not seem to make sense to show RGs of previously released material with secondary types X + Compilation before the original RGs with a single secondary type X (mainly for Audiobook and Audio drama, but also valid for Live, Soundtrack etc which already had this issue when they were still sorted by name).

Regarding a proposed order, I think Compilation should definitely be last, otherwise it doesn't matter too much.
It would probably make sense to have all non-music types second to last, demos and DJ-mixes are probably not as important either.
So I would suggest to have music-specific types before non-music types before generic "tertiary" types:

      1. Soundtrack
      2. Live (deprioritize below non-music because X + Live is also common?)
      3. Remix
      4. DJ-mix
      5. Demo (deprioritize below non-music because X + Demo is also common?)
      6. Mixtape/Street (promotional, deprioritize below non-music?)
      7. Audiobook
      8. Audio drama
      9. Spokenword
      10. Interview
      11. Field recording
      12. Compilation
