We don't remove spammer editors, but keep them instead while marking them as spammers, in the hopes of using their data to help find other spammers more easily. While this is useful, it comes with collateral issues, such as having their ratings and tags cluttering the DB. It would make more sense to move spammer data to separate tables, in which they would not affect the main data anymore, but they could still be used for machine learning or other data-based comparisons (IPs, emails, etc.) and possibly unmarked as spammers and brought back to the main DB if marked in error.
