A thing that would help when dealing with new users (who normally don't realize that their changes don't take place immediatly) is a check for preventing duplicate edits from being opened (either by the same editor or by all editors).
Now this is possible:

http://test.musicbrainz.org/edit/13876484
It would be nice if the second attempt would be turned into a yes vote could tell me "Hey, you're someone is doing that already!". I don't know if it is technically possible, but you'd be surprised by the amount of new editors that do the same edit two or three times because "it didn't work" or who gets their pending edits failed by an automod.
jesus2099 removed and added some text above.↗
jesus2099 thinks we could transform duplicate edit into yes vote.
