This is an alternative or additional (and imo preferred) UI solution to MBS-14277 (Warn user when removing relationships).

One of the more common mistakes (and quite understandable, since it takes an extra click to see that there's an 'ended' option available) is new and not-so-new editors removing relationships rather than marking them as ended.

My UI/UX suggestion is to have a single click on what is currently the 'remove' icon (the red cross) set a link or type to 'ended', and another click remove it.

Apart from the behaviour itself, I don't think the UI would need many changes:

• Ideally a different icon, which changes into the current 'red cross' icon after it's been clicked (new 'minus-icon', implementation-ready, attached to ticket)
• Mouse over changed to 'end link, click again to remove' (is currently 'remove link')
• Done: We already have good elements in place that differentiate ended and removed status, e.g. yellow highlight for ended and a red highlight for removed
