Since we have copyrights relationships that we can apply to artists instead of labels (for artist self-releasing music), I propose we have a distributor relationship that we can apply to artists as well (similar to the distributor relationship between labels).

 

So on a distributor label page we can see the following relationships

[distributor label] "is/was distributing the catalog of" [record label]

[distributor label] "is/was distributing the catalog of" [independant artist]

and on the artist page

distributors: [label]
