While for release group we have code specifically to bring the right AC list whether the user is looking for official, all, VA RGs or a combination of them, the same code has not been implemented for release filtering. https://musicbrainz.org/artist/ae0b2424-d4c5-4c54-82ac-fe3be5453270/releases?va=1 still shows the "official, for this artist" list of ACs, meaning filtering by AC is not usable on the VA view.
