      "I'd like to be able to enter comments for all items in my collection, possibly with annotation markup to be able to add hyperlinks."

      Even if the reasons given there no longer apply that much in NGS, having a kind of "personal annotation" could still be useful:

      "I might want to make a note that something is missing, that it's the first press edition with some bonus stuff, or I might want to say the case is cracked, or that it was a 21st birthday present from someone, who knows"
