Brief summary: It would be better to always display the "artist as credited" text as proper text, not a placeholder, to allow people to make minor changes.

In the advanced editor I first search for and select an artist name in the artist column (this is a VA release). However the artist is credited with a slightly different name so I click on "credits". In the popup the "Artist as credited on this track" field has the artist name in grey, however when I click on it it vanishes and I have to type the whole name myself. So what exactly is the point of showing the name in grey there? I would expect the name to stay there so I can edit it - because I'd think in most cases the credit is just a slight variation of the artist's name in MusicBrainz.
