Often something like this happens:
Someone links a release to a wrong URL, which was used (validly) by another release. Then someone corrects the URL, which changes the URL also for both releases. The correct behavior in this case is of course to vote the edit down, or enter a remove edit, but this isn't clear to many users.
I think it would be a huge improvement if a warning was displayed every time a URL is edited which is linked to more than two entities, like:
"Warning! By editing this URL you change the relationships of these entities:
- entity1
- entity2
- ..."
